6.1.1.5 Script bug

Posted by breeves on Thu, 09/09/2010

I have a few clients we have written custom scripts for to use in the user extensions. On one such client we noticed that after upgrading to 6.1.1.5 the drop down list for scripts under user extensions no longer shows the extra scripts, even though they are still tagged as user scripts. Has anyone else seen this? I did not see anything about this changing in the release notes and I confirmed it works on 6.1.1.2. Please let me know if there is a workaround otherwise I will need to figure out how to downgrade their install.

The scripts are still in the config file, but the GUI seems to ignore them. I even created a new script in the gui as a user script and it does not appear in the drop down when I go to extensions.

Bruce,

The scripts that appear as "candidates" for use in user extensions have to have the first 2 arguments as device/phone and mailbox - do these conform? They also have to be marked for use in the user extensions - are they?

That was the issue, thanks Alex.
