Audio in Spanish

Posted by rmartinez on Wed, 04/21/2010

Hello.
I'was trying to change the complete audio to spanish. So i downloaded from :
http://downloads.asterisk.org/pub/telephony/sounds/
the last pack for spanish audio.

I have my tenant and my extension set to SPANISH in the Web Manager, but the system is still playing the english files...
Where can i change this option?

-- Playing 'vm-theperson.slin' (language 'en')
-- Playing 'digits/8.slin' (language 'en')
-- Playing 'digits/0.slin' (language 'en')
-- Playing 'digits/1.slin' (language 'en')

Thanks in advance.

Ricardo.-

for managing user language, you can add language=es in the extension option
but you will have the common menu in english and the user option in spanish.

I know you can add in sip.conf in the general section language=es, but it will be for all tenants.
I'm trying to figure out how to do that per tenant.

actually if your using an IVR there is a place in the menu that sets the language on the incoming channel. You will notice it in the ivr screen

thanks for this helpful thing

but is it possible to define per tenant a language ? I mean internally (without coming by the incoming channel), language stay in english
if in sip.conf I put in general section : language=fr, all tenants are going to have default language set
whereas I have customers prefering to have it in english, others in french ...
