Sorry to ask as I notice this has been beat to death, but I am needing to get call parking working. I have MTE running the latest ISO and it is up to date.
I have noticed that I need to download the asterisk source and install app_valetparking.c and then recompile. I see some step by steps, but I do not see any that are complete. I apologize and give my thanks in advance for anyone that can help (cough erik cough)
1. Where do I download asterisk source from and where do I install? I can't find an apps directory. I see a /usr/src/thirdlane but not asterisk.
2. Where do I download the app_valet.c from? I see some in areas like http://www.loligo.com/asterisk/misc/apps/app_valetparking.c I assume i just copy and paste this into a file and name it this?
3. Once I download the source and the app, I do /configure and make then make install.
4. After that will I be required to go in and add the parking lots in the .conf files manually?
I have some experience but not a ton and since I have multiple purchased licenses not in use I figure there is no better way than to jump in and do it.

why would it? do you actually have experience compiling software? it works much the same apache configs work in relationship to compiling the binaries.
