Thirdlane platform General Questions

I tried to do a yum update on my server and got this error:

"http://distro.thirdlane.com/channels/thirdlane/centos/5/i386/repodata/r… [Errno 12] Timeout: "

I tried to ping as well as browse to distro.thirdlane.com and got no response. Is this repository no longer in service? If so, is there an alternative repository to use for asterisk updates? I tried using atrpms.net and it claimed conflicts with the installed version. Would it be better to upgrade from source?

Hey Alex,

Same issue with me.

Installing package(s) with command yum -y install sendmail ..

Loaded plugins: fastestmirror

Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile

* base: centos.arcticnetwork.ca

* updates: centos.arcticnetwork.ca

* addons: centos.arcticnetwork.ca

* extras: centos.arcticnetwork.ca

http://distro.thirdlane.com/channels/thirdlane/centos/5/i386/repodata/r… [Errno 12] Timeout:

Trying other mirror.

Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: thirdlane. Please verify its path and try again

.. install failed!

Any ETA on when it would be fixed?

Same here, on a brand new install of thirdlane standard edition.

Anyone has any workaround maybe?

instead of using the iso, build it off centos 5.3 + webmin + mysql server .. guarantee'd that you wont run into that problem.

In the meantime, if you need to update PBX Manager just download it from the web site as a Webmin module and install it using Webmin.
