Hi Everyone,
For whatever reason my feature codes from the MT Web Interface never shows up after creation. So I opened SSH and jumped into /etc/asterisk/extensions.include and I can see my feature codes plain a day.
Ok here is where things get REALLY wierd. I have many tennants and anytime anyone adds a feature code, it always adds the feature code to the LAST tennant created in MT! How bizzare!
So the last tennant has about a dozen or do feature codes that isnt their now. How can I fix something like this? Something I should be looking at?
BTW, no ones feature codes ever show up in the Web Interface, they are completely missing from teh UI even though they are in the extenstions.include file.
Any insight as always, is greatly appreciated.
Hi Eeman, I created each
Hi Eeman,
I created each user admin in the MT Tennant Management. I clicked on a Tennant and then I went down to the Administrators Section for that Tennant and I added a new user for the tennant specifically.
This is the way to do this ala the manual (yes I do RTFM). When each of the tennants login, they are locked into their own account and DO NOT have a pull down.
SO in my head (or logic dictates) that the tennant logged in whould be saving their Feature Codes in their own section of the extensions.include file. Also note this is the ONLY FEATURE that does this wierdness.
Its only in MT edition that I can reproduce this (we have a few single editions running that dont have this issue for obvious reasons).
Even if 5 tennants were logging in at a time, their Features Codes should still be saved to their section. We only have 1 root account and no one logs in as that account for security reasons.
Any other suggetsions of what could possibly be the issue?
feature codes added to the wrong section
There was a version of pbx manager that had problems recognizing sections - which could have resulted in this behaviour. The problem was fixed a while back - I wonder wheter you are running the latest version?
Hopefully I can take a look atyour system today.
did you give your tenants admin logins? how did you create their admin users? this sounds more like identical usernames saving a change at the same moment someone else logged in with the same username changes the tenant from the pulldown.
