How do I clean out the hard drive

Posted by gregshap on Fri, 10/21/2011

My ST version was running fine for the last 2 years when it suddenly stopped taking modifications and voicemails. I looked at the mount and it was at 100% full out of a 16 gig total size on the root mount.

Is there a clean up proceedure that I can run to reclaim that space? All voicemails have been erased and there is only one small music on hold file.

Thanks,

Greg

ST
1.6 Asterisk
Centos 5

its probably log files.. old iso versions did something completely stupid, they logged everything including debug message to a /var/log/asterisk/full file

you can delete out /var/log/asterisk/full and /var/log/asterisk/messages and you could also zip up and archive the cdr records in /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv/

Thanks Erik,

Once again, you knew just what to do.

It went from 99% to 18%.
