How to strip the leading + in a country dialling code

Posted by Scooty70 on Mon, 02/24/2014

Hi Forum Members
I have a client who is a client of a Hosted PBX provider here in Oz.
When they use Blink (soft phone) for the MAC the contact has a leading + in the telephone number like +61xxxxxxxxx
I want to strip out the + as the system doesn’t seem to support this

I am led to believe that Blink Pro can do it. Otherwise I think there might be 2 options within the hosted PBX provider
1 is to use Outbound Routes to strip the + or 2 is to use a feature codes but am unsure on how this might work.

Doers anyone know how this can be achieved

Cheers,
Scott

if your saying the softphone always sends the calls in a +1NXXNXXXXXX format then you can simply make a pattern in outbound routes and just strip the first digit using the provided field
