I know this has bounced around the forums already but I can't find an answer anywhere.
I have a Real Estate office who is always on the road (as they should be). They have two physical SIP phones in the office and two cell phones.
Call comes in on 800-555-1212 and goes to a hunt list which rings x200, x201, 413-555-1213, 413-555-1214.
This all works great, except two things. The user can not control the cell phone number via the user portal and the caller ID of the original caller is not forwarded.
I would rather let the FMFM take control but I see the posts with concern about looping, although I don't see it.
How can I make this work for this customer? This was a selling feature and I was able to do it with FreePBX so I would think it possible with MTE. I like MTE for so many reasons over FreePBX for my needs, but this is a big selling feature for clients like Real Estate Offices, Law Offices, and other mobile professionals with small offices.
HELP is greatly appreciated!

Sounds like a plan
Excellent question, probably because I was not aware of the function, but I will certainly try it now! Thank you for the suggestion and I will get back to you on the results.

why don't you use tl-multidevice-exten and have it call both devices, then you can use FMFM with preserving callerid for the 2 cell phones.
