Line Span Issue

Posted by Csowens_indigital on Wed, 02/29/2012

Trying to get 2 extension on diffrent Thirdlanes to SPAN multiple lines.

I am trying to put two extension on the same Aastra phone and have each span 3 lines. The primary extension is on a Local Thirdlane ST the Second is on a hosted Thirdlane MT.

When I go to auto provisioning on the local Thirdlane (this is the tftp location for the phone) I select 1 then span 3 and it works for the first extension. I then select 4 and the second extension and span 3. I select Provision and my phone only has one instance of the second extension on line 4.....

The second extension is created using the type of NONE with No MAC I duplicate the extension on the MTE with type none and no MAC. I have the ST register Line 4 to the MT system using the aastra_phone.conf

sip line4 proxy ip: (ip of MT)
sip line4 proxy port: 5060
sip line4 registrar ip: (ip of MT)
sip line4 registrar port: 5060

The line does reg and is able to take calls but it can only take one. my goal is to have it span 3 lines so it can accept a second/third call. Just like line 1 does.

Any help would be great.

Chris

Maybe I didn't do the best job of describing my situation. I was hoping to get some feed back good or bad.
