Sorry if this is somewhat off topic, but I have a customer who has a shared office arrangement. You know, shared receptionist, space, etc. The receptionist wants to have some type of popup based on the CALLED number. That is, a script for the receptionist to say will pop up based on the company that was called. Does something like that exist? The guy who wrote FOP2 said that all it could do in this case is let me re-write the CallerID which seemed like a cheesy solution. It's not obvious to me that iSymphony can do that.
Thanks

Their ultimate goal is for the receptionist to know which company is being called and have a pop-up that displays the correct script for the receptionist to say. They are looking at a product They are looking at a product called "Contact" from http://www.evot.net. The software is subscription-based and runs $200/mo.
Thanks

hmm... well yea theres a workaround..
now you know that 99% of all url screen popers give you 2 variables.. callerid-number and callerid-name.
so in theory you can re-write callerid name with the DID and screen pop on that.
its not pretty but I came up w/ that idea for a custom ivr that asked someone for their account code and then pop the account code.
surely theres a better more practical solution to acheive their goal?.. whats their ultimate goal?
