OPENSIPS Integration

Posted by nivas.chandrashekar on Thu, 06/10/2010

We are just starting up with Thridlane PBX.
We need some resources on how to integrate OPENSIPS with thirdlane PBX Manager.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Nivas

its two entirely separate products.. they dont integrate... you either send your calls to opensips or you dont. Word of warning.. if you try to opensips your handsets (as some sort of proxy) AND your provider from the same proxy your calls are going to have lots of problems finding the correct place to originate in dialplan.

the best use for a sip routing engine is calls to/from your provider(s) .. there are pre-made solutions based on opensips/openser/kamallio. Programming these platforms is much more complex than programming asterisk dialplan. If you dont already know how to program in C then you're in for a lot of pain if you are trying to do it yourself.
