Permit-Deny order not correct? 6.1.1.12 MTE

Hi All,

I'm trying to limit what ip's can connect for particular extensions, we have users which like to roam about and users which would like to be locked down to prevent unauthorized access.

I'm trying to use the other options box below Voicemail Retrieval Extension in the gui (6.1.1.12 which is the latest i believe), however no matter what order I enter the permit deny rules it always puts the deny at the bottom.

eg i enter

deny=0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
permit=10.1.0.170/255.255.255.255

the page reloads and it's

permit=10.1.0.170/255.255.255.255
deny=0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0

this then doesn't work when asterisk is reloaded as it's in the wrong order.

manually editing the config so it's the right way resolves it until you then make any changes to the extension which then reverses the order....

Am I doing it wrong?

This is not currently supported - it is a limitation.
