Hello I was just wondering if anybody on these forums have tried implementing Polycoms HD Voice wideband G.722 codec on TL yet. If so, is it really worth all the hype that Polycom makes it out to be?

it sounds great, but keep in mind its only for calls between extensions, the PSTN only uses g711u so they'll never hear a wideband audio. Make sure you download and install libresample before compiling asterisk so that you have the codec_resample.so module available.
