We are struggling to get thirdlane to present anything other than webmin@thirdlane.local - on outbound mail, and it causing authentication failures on our SMTP server
I cannot find where to change thisd value at all on the config?
Anyone able to help?

Hi,
You can do it under Webmin -> Webmin Configuration->Sending Email.
Field “From address for email from Webmin”. It has default configuration. Change it to “Address” and type needed email address. Press Save. You can also send test email to see if it passed.
There is a bug on the main web page and you cannot see Webmin menu after login.
As a workaround you can login to the manager and put /webmin/edit_sendmail.cgi?xnavigation=1 after domain name.
Example, https://xyz.company.com/webmin/edit_sendmail.cgi?xnavigation=1
