Script for user unavailable

Posted by lifeofryley on Mon, 10/17/2011

Hi there,

We have a customer who's internet went down today for some time. Their current DID routes (2 DID's) go to reception ext 100. The schedule is as follows:
- off hours 9-5
- all hours goes to reception 100

Is there a script or handler to say if 100 is unavailable, send calls to another extension (off site and assuming that site has internet...). An alternative could be if reception 100 is unavailable, calls get diverted to a cell phone.

Please advise and thanks in advance.

Ryley

Thank you.

Where can I find that setting? Is it within the scheduling feature? Is there a step-by-step process / best practice to follow?

Best regards,

Ryley

in the case above, if ext 100's phone is off (internet out) and find-me/follow-me is enabled to ring a cell phone - the call goes to the unavailable msg.

How do I have the call continue through to the find-me/follow-me and bypass the unavailable message?

Thanks,

Ryley

report the bug, FM/FM should not check for CHANISAVAIL and it should not go to VM if the chan is unavial, it should proceed through dialplan
