SIP Peer \Other Options"Settings Disappear"""

Thirdlane platform General Questions

Running MTE 6.1.1.12:

When filling in the parkinglot setting using the "Other Options" box in Thirdlane, as such:

parkinglot=parkedcalls_tenant

The option is written to sip.conf and processed properly with the reload. But it then disappears from the GUI and has to be manually re-input whenever that extension is saved, or the setting is completely lost.

I assume this is by design somehow, but is there a way we can get a resolution for this?

because thats incorporated by default its not going to show up in the other options box. have you looked at sip.conf directly?

I have looked at it. The setting is not set by default in sip.conf. It will set in other settings, but it will disappear when the extension is re-saved.

what version of asterisk?

what does your /etc/webmin/asterisk/features.txt say?

The version is 1.8.-svn (in the 1.8.6 release branch).

I actually don't have a features.txt anywhere on the TL MTE box.

thats the problem, your installation predates the feature.. without this file and its content it will delete these entries.

Mine is disappearing also I thought I have the latest version Asterisk 1.8.7.1
When I type parkinglot=parkinglot_TenantName into the box it still is gone and does NOT create the setting in the sip.conf file.

It does still exist and it says "multipark=1"
This is the location right?: /etc/webmin/asterisk/features.txt
