Hi Everyone,
We are small pbx integration company planning on adding ITSP services... We have a lot of Voip experience, unfortunately not with SIP but with SCCP and Cisco Implementations.
So far I really like the Thirdlane interface, its very clean and useful.
Can you guys suggest a basic topology?
Our Servers sit in a redundant colo
Our Origination / Termination provider is a SIP Trunk
Would TL-MTE suffice?
Besides TL-MTE would there be a better solution? additional pieces of the puzzle?
What Billing software do you recommend? Besides DTH (already looked into them)
Do we need or recommend using a OPENSIPS or SER or a SBC infront of the TL-MTE?
Any random suggestions as well would be appreciated? The plan would also be to add more TL-MTE's in other rate centers, and connect them all for no-toll calling (between our customers - Maybe we would bill them for call or maybe not)
Thanks in advance.
Dan
make sure you familiarize yourself with all the FCC forms you have to file anually and quarterly. They have been really cracking down on those $20,000 non-compliance fines lately. I personally know 3 ITSP's that got hit for not filing their 477's, CPNI statements etc.
