Hi
In a previous post I reported having issues with the voice prompts used for the follow me type of hunt list as follows:
Delighted to see follow me hunt groups in this version (6.1.1.10) but mine fails if I try and specify custom voice prompts. Having done so the script falls over and goes straight to a default mailbox prompt (as set I have to say) and delivers the caller into the voicemail box.
Having set the custom voice prompts I have to completely delete the script and create a new one with a different name before it will work again.
I get this in the logs –
[Jun 27 09:37:50] WARNING[6232]: file.c:665 ast_openstream_full: File ../ogm/gtf
ollownext does not exist in any format
[Jun 27 09:37:50] WARNING[6232]: file.c:995 ast_streamfile: Unable to open ../og
m/gtfollownext (format 0x4 (ulaw)): No such file or directory
Although the files in wav format are in /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/ogm:
>>>>>>
Since then I have been having issues with any audio being played to the caller in the follow me list?
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
What further information would it help my posting?
Regards and thanks,
Geoff.
skype for asterisk
Hi Erik,
Yes I know. Skype have pulled the relationship with asterisk although digium have intimated that it might be reinstated some time in the future. As for the current SFA components they are still on sale until the end of the month by which time you need to have completed the purchase and activation. Skype has said that they will support the SFA connector for at least two years and then at their discretion. I noticed for the first time last week that asterisk supports google talk - I had been too busy working with SFA to notice!
Regards, Geoff.
All, just for interest I should report that I took the plunge and upgraded my asterisk 1.4 to asterisk 1.8. All went perfectly except for losing my skype for asterisk components that required recompiling. Having added in all the media sources the followme system in its default settings works perfectly.
