Currently testing Thirdlane Connect, installed from ISO and updated server/thirdlane yesterday.
I can use Thirdlane Connect with Windows without any issues, but cannot connect using Android app, even while on same network as Windows.
Android is showing connection error and giving a generic "request was denied for security" message at the bottom.
I'm able to login using https:///connect on the same android device. Is there anything I'm missing when trying to get the android app to work?

Can you tell if you were using your own certificate? If yes, what authority you got it from? For some of them Android requires intermediate certificate.
