What about adding the ability on a tenant level to add content to the users (extensions) home page for information not only about added feature but other company news..?

George,
I do like the idea. Are you suggesting to have "push" and multiple sections - i.e. thirdlane news, your (ITSP's) news, tenant level news, etc. Would these be for showing to administrators or just end-users - and who will manage this?
I can see an issue with ITSPs who don't want customers to know anything about third lane - so we would have to have some sort of subscription model, or target model (what is presented to whom?)
Hope I did not misunderstand your suggestion.
Also - are your manuals getting overwritten? Sorry, we just have better manuals :). I am not sure what to do about this except for possibly allowing you (user) to change the location from where Thirdlane PBX gets the manual (otherwise we won't be able to update) - and I can't think any deeper than this at the moment - really.

Hmmm well as the ISP (GOD) to the system I'd like at least to start to have a means to annouce fix's, new features, general news etc.. this would be well served to go to both the tenant admin as well as the extension user,
maybe if possible and for easy of management break the editing field of the users page into two parts,.. one for use for the above and the other half for the tenant admin to write in..
this would not have to be large areas.. something like a text message field only a little bigger.. what 250 caractors..?
your thoughs..?

manuals over written
hehehe, I can not argue everything is in there, BUT honestly very confusing to the end users and the admin has alot we don't give tenant admins access to.. plus they have TL all over them..
I have re-written and steamed line both in a little easier to follow format and only have features and menus they have access to, so we don't have confision or the Admins asking where is this or that or how come they don't have access to something..
I can send is you want to see them both..

Interesting thought - I wonder if we get any other comments/suggestions on this?
