I believe there is a problem when updating user extensions. Say you have extension 100 and 200 which are already created. Say you decided after they are created that you would like extension 200 to ring to extension 100's mailbox and go ahead and make that change. Everything up to this point works great. Now you decided you want to set extension 200 to ring back to extension 200's mailbox. This is when it breaks. The change does not appear to have worked. It still rings to 100's mailbox. The only way to set it up properly is to delete both extensions and set them up correctly during the initial extension creation.
Another example is when you have an already existing extension and make a change such as call-limit on it. Now your extension has a call-limit set, but you no longer need it so you go change it. The change will not take place and the call-limit is stuck at whatever you initially set it to until you delete and re-create the extension.
Has anybody else had a similar experience?
Thanks,
Sean
