Voicemail PIN

I have one user extension that continually gets a prompt for first time setup and password change when logging in to voicemail.

I have deleted the extension and re-created it but can not get the prompt to go away.

I am not sure what information I need to post, but any feedback would be appreciated.

Edmund,

You are most likely setting he voicemail pin to be the same as the extension. The first time setup script is triggered based on the voicemail box number and voicemail pin being the same IIRC.

what netriplex said... google 'asterisk voicemail.conf' and read the comments about 'forcename' and 'forcegreetings' it will explain what these settings do
