Hi, doeas any body install CISCO Phones with Thirdlane PBX?
Currently I have a customer that have Cisco phones and need to use them with Thirdlane PBX, But I' cant configure the phones. Any help, hint will be apreciated.
Cisco Phones
We run exclusively Cisco phones with our setups, but we do not use Thirdlane to configure them. We only have 7941 and 7961 phones which are completely different than the 7960 amd 7940 phones. (Which are very common)
The 79x1's are very easy to configure via TFTP and some XML files.
examples of 7941&7961 configs
greetings, would you mind sharing your config files for your phones please. thanks

I use http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+phone+cisco+79x1+xml+config…
for information on how to set them up. It has basically a step by step guide on how to do it. That entire site is a great resource.
Cisco 7960 phone randomly rebooting on inbound calls
We have been having problems with our cisco phones rebooting on random inbound calls.
Anyone have this issue before?
We are on firmware version 7-5 but are testing 8-2
Thoughts?
you should not have
you should not have resurrected a 2yr old post that isn't even related. next time start a new thread to avoid getting labeled a troll.
Thirdlane PBX supports Cisco phones auto-provisioning, at least the basic configuration, plus you can further modify/customize our templates if needed.
You probably need to update to a more recent (latest) version of Thirdlane PBX. Sorry, we should have these forums much earlier and overall kept everyone more up-to-date - getting website up took a while.
Best regards,
Alex
