Yes - we have never seen this message before until Monday morning, post-upgrade. Nothing has recently changed on our system with regard to call processing, HLs, queues or extensions. I scanned all asterisk full logs going back to October 2018 and the first time the string 'taskprocessor' showed up was(3 times) yesterday.

Could you please share core show taskprocessors Asterisk CLI command output?
You mentioned that you did not see this message before. But can you tell if you something changed about your system like amount of hunt lists, queues or extensions increase or is started processing more calls?
