We're running MT 9.1.4.14, and just starting today, when we add an extension through the GUI it does not reflect as a peer when viewing 'SIP show peers' through the command line. Errors in the asterisk messages show "invalid password" when trying to provision a phone. We were able to add extensions successfully two days ago, and nothing on the server has changed to our knowledge. We will restart the server tonight to see if that clears up the issue, but has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance.
Andrew
Volodya,
Volodya,
The issue was cleared up by a server reboot, but that's correct, when we created new User Extension, we could not see it afterwards in Asterisk CLI by running "sip show peers" command? If it happens again, we'll see how Asterisk reloads sip configuration. Thanks for your response.
Andrew
Hello Andrew,
Please clarify. When you create new User Extension, you can not see it afterwards in Asterisk CLI by running "sip show peers" command? Can you see how Asterisk reloads sip configuration when you are making any changes to User Extensions? Can you tell if /etc/asterisk/sip_peers.include configuration file gets updated? If no, try to restart webmin by running service webmin restart command.
Please let me know if this will help.
