In the older versions of Thirdlane we were able to use the Mix Monitor command below to record hunt list calls, but that hasn't worked since we upgrade to Version 8 MTE.
MixMonitor(in-2222-${STRFTIME(,,%F-%H-%M-%S)}-${CALLERID(num)}${TL_DASH}${tenant}.WAV,b)
We're getting around this currently by sending calls to a "dummy" extension that is set to record, which forwards to a feature code that sends the call to a hunt list. Though this works, it's problematic and causes several CDR entries for one call. Does anyone know of a command or alternate way to record hunt list calls? It would be nice to have that as a built in option on future releases. We're running MTE 10.1.2.2.
Any help is much appreciated.
Andrew
Thanks Volodya, that works
Thanks Volodya, that works well. I notice it mentions that extension based ring groups may be deprecated in the future. I'm a little hesitant to use these if that's the case. Is that still the case for them?
Hello Andrew,
You can use the Extension Based Ring Group instead https://www.thirdlane.com/docs/platform/hunt-lists#extension-based-ring-groups. Just make sure to enable it https://www.thirdlane.com/docs/platform/system-preferences
