What are recommendations to correctly configure in Thirlane Multi Tenant GUI?

TL removed IAX support a few…
TL removed IAX support a few years back.
We had used IAX for server 2 server trunks for years but had to switch to SIP only.
which is better, we have had all of our IAX trunks randomly drop every so often and had to unload and reload the IAX service to get them back
Not your answer, but why use IAX instead of SIP? Is it a carrier?
