Using a Yealink T42G and the default, built in template, I have no message waiting indicators. My Fanvil phones work just fine.
Thirdlane 14.1.5.6 and the current Yealink bundle of 1.3-2.el6.

This was a brand new device…
This was a brand new device just added today in order to test this problem. The Yealink bundle has not been updated in a while from what I can see, it was on this version prior.

After the template bundle was updated you need to re-saved provisioning profile and apply updated provisioning files to the phone.
