I have a server set up in another location. I am trying to call another extension on the same server but that phone is coming in from the outside as well. If I pick up one of my SPA-942 phones and dial that extension, I get " the person at extension 212 is on the phone" If I pick up another phone in my office and dial the same extension, the call goes through. I can call any other extension just fine inside or outside of the network, it is only extension 212 that has this problem.

I had it some time ago that
I had it some time ago that a customer set up speed dial for all internal extensions on his phone he set to auto divert enable so all internal calls were sent to vm as BUSY
I was working on that for a few days till I figured it out

Login to your server as root and do a asterisk -vvvvr. Then make your test calls. You can see what it is doing there. If none of the output makes sense to you, better go read some asterisk and voip books.
