When forwarding into a users VM from a hunt group, the phone system plays temp greeting instead of the main greeting.

We are using PBX Manager 6.0.1.71 in a multi-tenant environment
There is a huntgroup that forwards to a users VM, when caller gets to the users mailbox the temp greeting from that users voicemail is played.

How do you make it use the users main VM greeting?

Thanks
Stacy

temp greeting overrides ALL greetings. Delete your temp greeting and i would suggest tempgreetwarn=yes in your voicemail.conf

Erik,

Thank You for your response.

I just recreated the issue in order to try and explain it better. I did what you requested and still have the problem. If I create a DID for a user's extension and call it the user's unavailable message plays for the caller to leave their message.

If I create a huntgroup, then in the "If no one answers run script" I choose " Go To Voicemail" then select the user's extension in the Mailbox field it plays the following greeting "Please leave your message after the tone, when done please hang up", not the user's unavailable greeting. The message is left in the user's VM just the same as any other message would be. How do I fix it so that calls sent to voicemail from a hunt group play that user's unavailable greeting?

I found a work around by choosing "Go to User Extension" script, but then after the huntgroup has rang 4 to 5 times, the extension rings another 3 to 4 for a total of 8 to 9 rings. I would really like the huntgroup to only ring 4 to 5 times then go to a user's VM and play their unavailable greeting as this does not really meet my customer's requirements.

Thank You,

Stacy

what did you put in the options field on the huntlist? did you read the instructions for the options box that shows up when you select 'go to voicemail' ?
