Schedule editing Error in 6.0.1.63

Posted by duc on Thu, 10/16/2008

Hi guys,

When my customer update an existing schedule there is an error. When he save the modified schedule, there is an error message but the schedule is really saved without any reload button that appears. If your force the reload, the schedule is ok.

The system is :
- Thirdlane 6.0.1.63
- Debian 4.0
- Asterisk 1.2.30

Hope you can help me...Cheers Duc.

Just as a point of reference, I'm unable to reproduce this with TL 6.0.1.63, RHEL5.2, Asterisk 1.4.22.

The most likely point of difference there is the Asterisk version, so it might be something specific to 1.2.x

You said there's an error message when you save, but you neglected to say what the error message is. Knowing the error message might help track it down.

Hello

I have the same error "Error saving Schedule :"

We use PBX Manager 1.4.70 / Asterisk 1.4.22.2

When i create a schedule everything works fine, but when i save a change in the schedule i get this error, but the changes are saved. (This problem is not for all tenants, just for some)

All linux read/write rights are set as they should, the files which are changed are :

inbound.include

inbound_actions.include

inbound_source.include

schedules_source.include

(am i missing some??)

ERROR: When saving the schedule in Single Tenant Version

PBX Manager 6.0.1.69 is the running version

When saving the schedule the error ( Error saving Schedule : ) pops up.

The strange thing is PBX Manager 1.4.69 displays once the error pops up.

Now, confirm by going back to PBX Settings --> Schedules --> Select The Schedule and you can confirm the changes you wanted to make are in deed there? So the question is where could I look to correct this issue? My client cannot afford to upgrade the license for a longer term support contract because the budget is so tight at the moment.

I noticed that there were lots of gaps in time during the other posts, if there is more information that I could provide I would be happy to post it if you think it might help.

Client Comment (the reason we are now involved) listed below

Hi,

Over the weekend our on-call line was dropping directly to the backup box. The only thing that actually made it stop was moving the IVR order in the inbound route. However, it started back up again this morning. XXXXX and I have both been getting some sort of schedule error when trying to edit and save schedules over the past week.

END OF Client Comment

Some additional information:

Restarted Asterisk
System is a rock solid piece of hardware
call quality is excellent
Just this error and the schedule going a bit haywire.

Thank you,

Right, I would agree. Here is the problem. They are out of support contract by about 3 months. They dont seem to be able to come up with more money to get a new support contract which will allow the latest stable?

Thank you,

Does this help when running the cgi from the command line?

./save_schedule.cgi
Undefined subroutine &main::init_config called at (eval 20) line 6.
./ast-lib.pl did not return a true value at (eval 10) line 1.

problem definitely doesnt exist in current version. dont know what to tell you... the cgi files are encrypted, its not like you can edit like 6 and fix it.
