Hi,
Is it possible to setup Directed Call Pickup and Group Call Pickup. I see that the provisioning files are using *8 for the pickup code and the softkeys are on the phone. I tried setting *8 up in the feature codes and adjusted the dialplan length on the phones to allow up to 5 digits *8{extension #}.
Any ideas?
In the feature setup it is asking for invoking feature code length

*8 is a group call pickup feature defined in features.conf labeled pickupexten. The thirdlane default is not *8 (even though the digium default is) due to whomever started the features.conf decided to plagiarize that gay-ass distribution FreePBX, they use the limp-wristed ** setting. Change features.conf to use *8 and your pickup button will work as long as your a pickupgroup member of any of the callgroup members assigned to the extension.
as far as directed call pickup you would have to code a softkey for that if you want to be able to hit a button and it prompt you for more digits to enter.
