Dahdi starts, but getting errors

Posted by cbbs70a on Thu, 02/18/2010

I am running Thirdlane STE V70, Asterisk 1.4.26, and the newest Dahdi with an 8-port analog card with all FXO ports. My problem is that even though dahdi loads, When I do a "dahdi show status" I get the error "No Zaptel interface found.". If I do a "cat /proc/dahdi/1, I can see the correct channels listed. In the logs I am seeing this: "chan_dahdi.c: Unable to load zapata.conf" which is really confusing the hell out of me. I have no idea at all why I would see that. I must be missing something obvious. Does anyone have any insight on this?
Thanks
FSD

make sure /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf was renamed to /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf

also make sure you re-compile asterisk and asterisk-addons after you installed dahdi

As usual, I bow before your greatness. I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy. It was a simple re-compile. I should of known that.
