Hi all,
I seem to be having problems with appending an extension number to the end of a feature code. In this example, I am using a feature code *90 to call the tl-directed-call-pickup script. When dialling *90100 from my extension, I would expect that I should answer any calls currently ringing extension 100.
This isn't working at the moment as Asterisk is not seeing *90100 as a call to feature code *90, it is seeing it as a independent extension / feature code. As a result, I get an "invalid extension" error message.
I'm clearly missing something with the set-up of the feature code but I am unsure on what this is. The tl-directed-call-pickup script has been tested separately and is working fine. We're running on Asterisk 1.4.18 with PBX Manager 6.0.1.74.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Chris
That hasn't worked
That hasn't worked unfortunately. Asterisk is still seeing *90100 as a invalid extension.
Perfect, thank you! I didn't
Perfect, thank you! I didn't know that you could do dial-plans within a feature code.
Thanks for your help.
Try setting it up _*90. That is how asterisk will know that a pattern will follow based on the script
