Incoming CDR destination

Posted by acxential on Mon, 05/03/2010

We are running both the single-tenant and multi-tenant versions of Thirdlane. In both versions, the incoming CDR records always show incoming calls going to destination "s". Is there any way to have this show the actual number dialed instead of the "s" designation?

nope... the desitination is the last extension in the dialplan before the call executes. Some applications will show a destination # (like someones direct dial number) but many are ivr's and their extensions are 's' in the dialplan. This is not something limited exclusively to thirdlane. It is a behavior that all end-user systems experience. Any time you re-direct a number to somewhere else, that number becomes the destination. This is why i advocate creating a gateway for itsp's to use before sending calls to the end-user pbx's like mte or ste. It will retain a clean cdr if written correctly.
