Several extensions do not appear on the 'Buddies' list (one of the default softkeys on PolyCom 501). These particular extensions are not being watched and I cannot figure out how to get them to be watched. Each phone has its own mac-directory.xml in /CONTACTS/ and all extensions are between 100 and 120. All extensions can call out, transfer calls, receive calls, receive transfers, etc...
For an added kick, the front desk receptionist has a PolyCom 601 which properly displays BLF on all extensions yet on her 501 the Buddies list is missing extensions, the exact same extensions everyone else is missing.
So the phones work perfectly fine but this particular feature just does not work properly.
As well, this same issue shows up on other tenants but they aren't as dilligent about having it working right away.
Any assitance with getting all extensions to watch each other properly will be greatly appreciated!
Thank You in Advance,

(P.S. I had created a post about this issue on 4/23/10, before the forums went down on Monday but I cannot find a way to delete the old post or get it to appear on the thread list.)
i dont think he's adding them
i dont think he's adding them that way.. he is trying to manually make an xml file instead of letting the phone upload the xml file via ftp. I figure I'd give him another week to beat his head against the wall before i would tell him an easier way... sticks in the memory cells a lot better when you get baptized by fire.
Follow-Up
After some much needed research on the subject, I have found out that PolyCom 501's only monitor upto 8 extensions with the Buddies List Feature. (PolyCom 601 up to 48)
If you're having a similar issue but not getting the full 8 (or 48 on a 601) the following link may help:
