I am uploading some professional greeting files for a IVR in MTE, but need to know exactly what file setting I need.
Currently, they are 16 bit, 44,100 khz Wav files in mono.
What should they be? I have a convertor once I know.
Thanks
Greg

Settings needed
Thanks Matt,
But I have software in Windows to convert, I just need the following info to do so:
* Codec GSM WAV seems likely
* Sample rate
* Bit Rate
The link you sent talks about different types like MP3 and Wav, but I read a post somewhere that 1.6 and Thirdlane only use WAV.
Please advise
Greg

I would just use sox to
I would just use sox to convert them, it is very easy.
I think it is 8 KHz, 16 Bit, Mono
By the way, when I put them in this format, the IVR answers and just has dead air, then hangs up. No Sound.
