Hold keeps disconnecting calls.

I am having an issue with the GXP2000. When a person is placed on hold on one line and another call comes through, there is a very high chance that the person who was on hold will be automatically disconnected. I was wondering if anyone might now why this is and if there is any solution.

Could be anything from the router if NAT'd, to the phone, to the Asterisk. You'd have to provide a lot more info about your config and topology.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately no-one in this office (myself included) is quite tech-savvy enough to know the ins and outs of these phones. We do have a tech-guy who comes in but he charges for his services and we wanted to avoid having to pay to solve such a minor issue.

Are there any quick fixes that I could try for this before resorting to calling him in?
