provisoning linksys spa; pbx does not create a cfg file!

Posted by rokio on Fri, 04/15/2011

after spending the last 4 hrs reading the forum, and trying to get the phone read the created config file from the server, I found out there is no file created on the server...
removed the phone, recreated it, mac in caps, or lower case, does not make any difference.... what could be wrong? there should be created a file that has the mac adres in its name, isn't it?

i am using http/https, a test file on the server is being read correctly from the IP/unauthenticated/provisioning url.

thanks,

rob

are you using some old version of TL iso? the latest design was with apache serving out the configs in the /home/PlcpSpIp directory so that http, tftp, and ftp can all co-exist for provisioning protocols.

correct, thanks a lot, the file is there

only too bad i spend an hour to try to get it from unauthenticated/provisioning
before finding out it should be/provisioning now...

thanks again,

rob
