Configuring a trunk on a port other than 5060

Posted by DMacLean on Fri, 04/29/2011

I have a trunk that I'm trying to configure to live on port 5070.

I have another trunk from the same provider on the same MTE box as this, and it works just fine. I replicated the server information from that trunk (and populated the correct login information for this one) to make the new trunk, however I included "port=5070" in the "Other Options" field... but it doesn't work.

Am I missing something?

Sorry for the confusion, but no, they require that I listen for SIP on another port on my PBX, and I chose port 5070.

then thats not the setting you are looking for, you're looking for bindaddress or udpbindaddress which can only be set on startup (restart will be required)
