has anyone been able to auto provision one of the panasonic DECT phones, the TGP-500/550?
just asking because i haven't been able to get it to even attempt to get it's config file from the ftp server, even when following the provisioning instruction from panasonic's SIP website...
ya me too, was hoping to have
ya me too, was hoping to have it setup the accepted dial plan, and account info, then i would go in and manually program the ringing to save a little time...
also, i saw an issue with phantom ringing on the questions forum, and panasonic said that one of 2 settings could stop it, so i was hoping to provision those too...
panasonic's tech support has gone down the drain in recent times, every time i call them i need to wait for a call back that i don't get until i am out of the office =/
I had success!
I was also having a hard time getting this to work. Our company's URL is usually http://something.com/cfg however I found that for the panasonic hardware I had to append .cfg at the end.
http://something.com/cfg/0080f0123abc.cfg
Once I did this it worked.
Hope this helps someone!

i just used the web interface to configure it. It seems a bit more complex than a basic phone. Theres all the registration accounts, which phones should ring on incomming did's, which account to use for placing calls for each phone. What other accounts can be used, which lines can be shared, etc etc.
