VIP-156PE - 802.3af PoE SIP Analog Telephone Adapter
hey eeman,
after some creative google searching I found this: VIP-156PE - 802.3af PoE SIP Analog Telephone Adapter - http://www.planet.com.tw/en/product/product_ov.php?id=3576
It looks interesting but I'm not sure if its only for thier own IP PBX system IPX-2000. Sounds like they have an auto-provsioning function in their IP PBX. But it is asterisk based. Do you think there would be any issues integrating with TL.
If you have a few minutes - have a look, I'd love to hear your thoughts before I purchase one to try out.

i couldnt tell one way or another from the product info. The inside interface almost had a grandstream-ish look to it but I dont know. The real testament to these devices are how well the hardware is constructed. Grandstream handytone's, for example, have no simple polarity reversal protection. Same voltage and amp rating with polarity reversed will fry them. Less than $0.04 worth of diodes would have saved that unit. To me thats just schwagg engineering.
i dont think im aware of any. linksys uses their own proprietary power injectors.
