We are currently running on 6.1.1.12 in the PBX Manager. It seems if we do more than 3 reloads in an hour, the system locks and no calls can be made until we restart the system. Do you know a fix for that or what are we doing something wrong?

Bugs in the version of asterisk you are running are likely to blame. A large part of the battle is finding a stable asterisk version for the features your customers are using.
