Hello,
I have a general question here which I am uncertain as to where the problem is.
As described in the subject line, we are using a MTE Thirdlane 6.1.1.6 with Asterisk 1.6. We have a customer set up with an SPA 2102. They are complaining about a beeping sound occurring every 10-15 seconds. Sounds like someone pushing the keypad (but they are in fact not)
Have you come across this? If so, what would be the fix for it?
Your help is appreciated.

I have a SPA2102 Voip ATA and a cable model with Videotron. When speaking on the phone, people on the other end often complain that they hear a beep sound at more or less regular intervals. We never hear that sound. I don't think this happens all the time, but its quite annoying.
Does anyone have any idea what causes this and if/how it can be fixed?talika
read my previous post.. how
read my previous post.. how more clearly can I explain it. google the words talk-off
if your going to resurrect an old, stale, post; at least have the courtesy to read all the threads. Everything you need to know is in the post I made on October 6th.
sounds like talk-off. make sure you did not relax dtmf settings on the ata. otherwise vocal sounds can be re-interpreted as dtmf. Also make sure you are running the most current firmware on the ata.
