Has anyone had any luck with the 7965s? New client has this model on the brain. Thanks for the help.

Cisco phones
We use both Cisco 7945's and 7942's, as far as I am a where the 7965 is the same as the 7945 but with more lines. If you want I can send you our user provisioning templates?

79x5 auto-provisioning
Hi.
We too are trying to set these up for a customer. Could you share your templates please?
Thanks in advance,
Antony.

cisco doesnt release that information and they dont actually build config files with their callmanager, but rather the phone queries the callmanager and it spits out the data over tftp dynamically. It took me quite a bit of work to get the 7941s and 7961s created and someone had to donate a phone. The SIP firmware has to be obtained from cisco as the phones come with the SCCP firmware embedded. Be aware that busy lamps and sidecars are not support when the cisco phones run in SIP mode, only SCCP.
