Dahdi Modules

Posted by The Godfather on Thu, 11/01/2012

Recovering from a potential hack scenario where it seems my system was altered severely. Asterisk itself seemed to be downgraded to a previous version and various other things happened as well that I am still recovering... One of those things being that Dahdi modules are no longer installed and I am unable to use meetme because of it. Is Dahdi something that can be loaded separately from asterisk or is it something that I should recompile to include?

WARNING[8662]: app_meetme.c:1228 build_conf: Unable to open DAHDI pseudo device

This is the error I am receiving.

Went ahead and just reinstalled dahdi and dahdi tools and rebooted. works fine. Didn't have time to troubleshoot it and provide and answer to the community here. Sorry. If it happens I would just recommend starting over fresh.

dahdi is a different set of source code. its a kernel module. you have to compile it EVERY time you change kernel versions.
