Hello All.
We just find out that some of our recorded calls are out of sync. If means that when you listen it you may hear how both people speak simultaneously or how one person is speaking after another one already hangup. And unfortunately it is not a problem of one call. Quick search shows that the problem may be in the cpu loading and the system just have no time to sync it. Could it be true? Could it be problem with the sox version? Does anybody faced similar issue?
We use Dell R710 8 core with the SAS hard drives.
Asterisk version 1.8.7.1
Sox version 12.18.1-1
nope, thats usually a mixing
nope, thats usually a mixing issue. but this is the kind of problem i would expect if someone was running in a VM.. this isnt a VM is it?
It not a VM. It is Dell R710
It not a VM. It is Dell R710 with 12G RAM and 2 Quard core CPU. We have no more than 100 simultaneous calls here. I thought that it may be a problem with the hard drive write speed, but after check it looks like that disk is ok. I read about this issue here
https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-16578
but there is no clear solution.
