we have a requirement from one of our customer where their old Avaya/Nortel phones can only accept "numbers" for sip user name. i know i can modify sip.conf to change peer name to numbers only but how do i reflect all these changes in thirdlane UI properly. so that customer can manage their routing stuff themselves
i have tried tweaking sip.conf and users.txt but in extensions view it doesn't populate password field.
any help would be much appreciated

this is a single-tenant
this is a single-tenant solution.. MTE by nature uses the alpha to parse and direct data to the correct contexts within the dialplan. its the entire basis of how MTE manages multiple tenants within a single asterisk instance.
Currently this wouldn't be possible.
