Hi,
We are running Thirdlane MTE and I need to allow all calls in tenant (perhaps even system-wide) to allow the dial options "t" and "T" for call transfers. Is there an ideal way to add this?
I was thinking of modifying the macro-tl-userexten-base in scripts.include to add these options system-wide. Would there be any negative effects or security risks in doing it this way?

We're still running version 6
We're still running version 6.0. That's a good point about an outside person using it for transferring to international calls.
I know it's not the ideal method for transferring calls, but it's the only method that FOP2 can use for attendant transfers...
depends on the version, newer versions put dialplan in a mysql database and any update is going to delete your changes. Be very careful of T and t as the wrong one can let the remote person transfer themselves to international numbers and leave you stuck with the charges. These are just DTMF settings anyway, are you using ATAs? DTMF based transfers are not the ideal sip method of call transfers.
