Are those features supposed to work? I tried setting a Call-Limit on an extension to 1 and it had no effect (I was able to make 3 calls simultaneously). Same thing with the 'Maximum number of Concurrent Calls' at the Tenant level; I've set it to 1 and was able to make 3 concurrent calls.

Because thirdlane interfaces date all the way back to 1.2. We have to continue to provide support for customers with legacy systems. Version 7 was really the first time they could go back and actually eliminate legacy entries. It was probably oversight.

call-limit in sip.conf is not supposed to do anything in asterisk 1.8.. it was removed by digium.
